Financial Reports

Where: Sidebar → Financial Reports.

The four standard accounting statements, computed live from your invoices, purchases and payments.

Choosing dates

The date card at the top adapts to the report you're viewing:

  • Profit & Loss and Cash Flow take a From / To range — defaulting to the current Indian financial year (1 April → 31 March).
  • Balance Sheet and Trial Balance take a single As of snapshot date — defaulting to today.

The four reports

Profit & Loss

Sales Revenue → less credit notes → Net Revenue → Cost of Goods → Gross Profit → operating expenses → Net Profit, with Gross/Net margin % tiles and a Revenue-vs-Cost chart alongside. Profits show green, losses red.

Balance Sheet

Assets (Cash & Bank, Accounts Receivable, Inventory) against Liabilities & Equity (Accounts Payable, GST Payable, Retained Earnings). A banner below tells you plainly whether the sheet ties out:

  • 🟢 "Balance sheet is balanced — Assets = Liabilities + Equity."
  • 🟠 "Balance sheet does not tie out — check for unreconciled transactions."

Cash Flow

Inflows, outflows and net movement, with a month-by-month bar chart and table.

Trial Balance

Every account with its debits and credits and a bold total row, plus a banner confirming "Debits equal credits — books are in balance" (or warning you to review entries).

  • Print uses your browser's print dialog on the whole page.
  • Export downloads a CSV of the tab you're currently viewing — switch tabs and export again for the others. Filenames are stamped with the period, e.g. profit-loss-2026-04-01_2027-03-31.csv.

Tips

  • Figures cache for two minutes — nudge a date to force a refresh.
  • Negative values print with a true minus sign (−), which imports cleanly into Excel.
  • For receivables detail behind the AR number, use the Receivables page; for GST detail, use GST Reports and the GST Agent.
